Today’s plan was 4min run and 2 min walk x6. I took a different route so by the time I reached McKinley cor Lawton, I still had 2 repeats to go.
I could have ran back.
I could have turned left to BGC.
I turned right towards Lawton.
This segment used to be part my Sunday long runs. I also ran part of my first race on this segment. I couldn’t resist.
4×2 intervals allows me to go a bit further now. Finally threw off the training wheels and running circles in the parks. Running this segment feels like playing with the big kids again.
I still have a long way to go but it will be a wonderful journey.
