I find sitting down at the start of the week and filling up a weekly calendar very calming. Planning before I get swamped helps me focus. So I started the day with coffee and a blank page.
My planners used to be a series of work “to dos”. After almost 2 months of non-stop project delivery, I’ve decided to tweak my weekly calendar. My little tweak is to expand the “to do” column. I now have 3 columns – Fitness, a generic “To acomplish” one for chores, gimik etc and gave Work it’s own column.
This will hopefully give better balance to this week. Instead of finding time for things beyond work, I will make time for them.
