adobo Run after Dark 2011 will be a race like no other.

Based on the race launch we attended last Friday, the people behind this race will deliver a fun race with lotsa pizzazz and new gimmicks!

Runners can expect an afterrun party with live music, Manila Beer for free, a sideline bazaar, samba percussionists, poi dancers, fire breathers, carnival queens, fireworks, lights shows and of course the must not miss costumes that the runners will wear.

This unique pre-Halloween night race will be brought to us by the adobo magazine, the premier publication for the advertising and marketing industry

Mark your calendars now … October 29, 2011 at the Aseana City in Paranaque, near the Mall of Asia. Call time is 7pm  for  all race categories.
adobo Run after Dark 2011 will have three race categories:

– 3K Costume Run, 8pm gunstart

– 5K Run, 8:20 gunstart

– 15K, 9pm gunstart. This race will close off the Aseana City so runners can be assured that they will not play  patintero with cars. However, if you are running 15K, then be prepared to run 3 loops.

To register online for the adobo Run after Dark 2011 log on to www.adoborun.runningmate.ph. In-store and manual registration fires off on October 3 at R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street, Toby’s EDSA Shangri-La Mall, and Runnr Trinoma. Race Registration includes race singlet, Runningmate timing chip, bib number, finisher’s certificate, loot bag, party stub and finisher’s medal (for top 500 5k and 15k runners). Register early para wag umuwing luhaan. 

Organizing the adobo Run after Dark 2011 is Crush Communications – an advertising and event company with a Singapore-based mother company TNBT. It is a fast-rising creative agency has etched a name in the industry with an exception five- year performance, most recently as organizers of the first two legs of the Philippine Azkals World Cup Qualifier matches at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum last July. Race director for this race is  Edward Kho.

With Edward at the helm, runners can not afford to chillax and chikapace if you want to finisher’s medal. Only the top 500 5K and 15K runners will get a finishers medal. Bakit? Well, that’s the beauty of running in Edward’s races … you really gotta earn that finisher’s medal. Mas espesyal! It

This race partnered with MyShelter Foundation to bring light to more filipino families. You gotta watch the video. It’s very inspiring.
