Are you ready to get dirty? – Men’s Health ATR – 05 June 2011 – Nuvali

The Men’s Health All-Terrain Race  is back for its fifth year. This year’s Men’s Health All-Terrain Race will be held on June 5, 2011, Sunday, 5:00 A.M. at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Last Saturday, I was part of the bloggers who participated in the dry run. Thank you Summit Media!  As most of us will be doing the Goldilocks race the following day, we begged off from doing the 10K race route.

Participants may choose to run the 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer or 16-kilometer trail courses, or ride their bikes on the 20-kilometer or the 40-kilometer route. For those who are up for a challenge, the Run & Bike option will have participants doing the 10-k run and the 20-k bike.

The 10K route features river crossings. Get ready to get dirty and wet kiddies. Keep scrolling to see some of the highlights of the 5K Route.

Can’t decide between 5K and 10K … think mudpit. You wanna or don’t wanna? *wiggle eyebrows* Of course, you wanna!

The 5K route is perfect for trail newbies. Think of it as a landscaped trail route. Haha. If you newbies out there would want a little adventure then pray for rain. This will all turn into mud and mush. Fun!

I used the Runmeter app to map out the route. Ian and Leadpack truly did a great job with this route. Accurate!

And when the trail bends and dips, be brave and keep on running. It’s bound to be an exciting segment.

Watch out! Locals are leaping up and down or squashed.
