feeling Goofy?

This is one of my dream finisher’s medal.

The Goofy Race and a Half Challenge is a two-day race format. On the Saturday you run the Walt Disney World Half Marathon and then on the Sunday you run the Walt Disney World Marathon to complete Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge. Update: Lea said you get Goofy, Donald and then a Mickey finisher’s medal. Kewlness!

Cut off time is 3 1/2 hours for the Half and 7 hours for the Full. Pede!

Registration is a bit pricey just like everything in Disneyland. 🙂

If you think you are goofy enough click here. Last time I checked the registration is still open.

Not yet sure when I will be able to afford this race but this is definitely a dream race.

*Hint hint* Now this is a really great finisher’s medal. The ones we have been receiving this year at major races are great. These medals symbolized our achievement … but side by side they are essentially the same. No, zing! Next year, I dare to wish that organisers will level up once again and give us customised finisher’s medal. Imagine, a golden swoosh for the Human Race, the classic stripes for the King of the Road or the animal or whatever symbol for the cause the Concepcions will sponsor next year.

Another dream finisher’s token is that white kilometer marker replica. 😀

Hay, a dream is wish your heart makes …
